A recent task highlighted their potential, where an autonomous vessel successfully surveyed an area to determine dolphin population density. The data collected was instrumental in understanding the habitat and behaviours of these marine creatures, further demonstrating the invaluable role of autonomous technology in advancing marine research and conservation efforts.
