Meet Hannah Cash, owner and founder of YachtingLawyers.
With over 20 years of dedicated experience in the marine industry, Hannah is a leading solicitor based in the UK, specialising in non-contentious marine law legal matters.
Hannah started her career in shipping law and having qualified as a solicitor with a central London law firm, she spent 3 years as a lawyer in Gibraltar gaining experience in offshore and super yacht industry.
Having lived on a houseboat for many years in London on the River Thames, Hannah also developed a specialism in the luxury houseboat industry quickly establishing a reputation for her expertise in complex legal issues affecting the marine leisure industry.
Throughout her career, Hannah has represented a diverse range of clients, including boat manufactures, marine owners and operators, yacht brokers, maritime businesses, private owners, trust and offshore companies, and owner managed businesses.
Hannah possesses extensive knowledge in areas involving non-contentious marine law including sale and purchase contracts, boat registrations, new build contracts, refit and schedule of work agreements, regulatory compliance, syndicate agreements, ownership and structuring advise and boat charter arrangements, allowing her to provide bespoke tailored legal solutions to meet the needs of clients.
Hannah is actively involved in the marine industry and is a member of several professional organisations, many of which she supports by sitting on the board and she has been appointed in the following positions.

Hannah’s commitment to ongoing education and professional development ensures that she remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving marine leisure industry.
Outside of work, Hannah is passionate about the ocean; a keen sailor, boat owner, surfer, paddle boarder and sea swimmer, reflecting her passion for the maritime industry both professionally and personally.
Hannah is currently learning to fly and studying for her PPL and she has recently passed her motorbike test!
