Yachtinglawyers had an incredible time connecting with clients and engaging with industry innovators at Europe’s largest in-water boat show, in Cannes, South of France.
The Cannes Yachting Festival has been held every September since 1977 in the breath-taking Bay of Cannes, the ultimate in luxury and elegance.
This is a must visit boat show in the sailing world, and it is Europe’s biggest in-water event. It brings together those involved in leisure boating, and newcomers showcasing their products for the first time.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is dedicated to those in high-end yachting, lifestyle and accommodates brands specialising in leisure boating.
This show was a fantastic opportunity to stay updated on the latest trends and innovative changes shaping the marine world.
YachtingLawyers were lucky to be based on ‘Mila’, a Princess 64 for the duration of the show. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise was a highlight and staying in the heart of the show meant we were best placed to take in all that the show had to offer.
We saw the launch of a new area entirely dedicated to new motorboats, with 140 boats on the water ranging from 8m to 30m. It is a major first for the Cannes Yachting Festival to present boats of this size in the water.
We also got to experience Vieux Port, located in the heart of the city, from one end of the Croisette to the other, the Vieux Port is one of the oldest ports on the Côte d’Azur and a must-see place in the Cannes landscape. Port Canto, on the other side of the Croisette, is the second port in Cannes.
Thank you to everyone we met at the show and looking forward to all the collaborations and adventures that lie ahead.
